well as Voice over IP (VoIP), SIP based. Additionally ISDN Dial-In-Server (DIS)- and VoIP-Gateway capabilities are available. In near future version with voice compression capability
is also available.
The realization of alternative network access or VoIP-LCR (Least Cost Routing) functionality for voice, fax and data services can be achieved easily with the use of the ISDN-PRI-VoIP-Dialer/Gateway
IPX3. The connection is established eg. between PBX, network (PRI interface) and IP-LAN/WAN/Internet. It can be used for VoIP-Gateway- and/or Dial-In-Server-applications to workaround
the widespread used DTMF dial in procedure by a clean ISDN procedure. IPX3, our new Multipurpose-PRI-Hardware for a widespread VoIP-ISDN usage, carrier as well as subscriber usage.
End users can maintain the accustomed operation of their respective devices (fax, phone, data) - no changes are necessary.
The IPX3 is programmed to select the most favorable service provider (VoIP, call-by-call, easy access, 0800 access, dial-in, calling card plattform, call back...) and to establish
the desired connection. Due to the fast call setup using ISDN and IP, a transparent dial-in process is ensured.
Like all the other Least Cost Routers by Sonic Telecom, the IPX3 features "Call Blocking" functionality however in all directions: Inbound and outbound. Of course the possibility
to admit carrier access codes for pre-selection is also available etc. .
